Archer Daniels Midland Company, Decatur, Ill, and Lesaffre announce the formation of a joint venture to construct a new yeast plant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The JV company, to be named Red Star Yeast LLC, will build its new facility adjacent to ADM's corn processing facility. Construction began in mid-March.
