Archer Daniels Midland Co., Decatur, Ill., and Marubeni, the leading grain trading and feed milling company in Japan, announce a joint agreement to seek new business development in specialty grains and oilseeds for the Japanese market. Under the terms of the agreement, ADM will be responsible for exporting specialty grains and oilseeds from U.S. growers to Marubeni, which will then market the products in Japan.
