Archdeacon (Mark Conliffe) gets degree.


Thorneloe University Thorneloe University is a federated school of Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. Affiliated with the Anglican Church of Canada, the university offers programs in religious studies, classical studies, women's studies and theatre.  in Sudbury, Ont. has awarded an honorary doctorate of theology to Archdeacon Mark Conliffe, who has served the diocese of Algoma for many years.

He also gave the convocation CONVOCATION, eccles. law. This word literally signifies called together. The assembly of the representatives of the clergy. He became archdeacon emeritus of the diocese in September 2001. Archdeacon Conliffe provides interim ministry in Thunder Bay and is Algoma's representative for the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund.
