Dr. Grib served as the first Chairman of the Board of Directors of Almazny Bereg ("AB"), a Russian international open joint stock company of which the Corporation owns 40 percent and into which the Verkhotina Licence will be transferred. Dr. Grib's thesis, "The Peculiarities of Geology and Magnetism of the Arkhangelsk Tectonic Zone," earned him a scientific degree of Master of Geological-Mineralogical Sciences from the Russian government in 1982 and the title of "Honoured Geologist of the Russian Federation." He published over twenty scientific articles on the geology of the Arkhangelsk Region, based on his extensive field research, and in 1987 was awarded the title of "First Discoverer" for taking part in the discovery of the nearby Lomonosov Diamond Field.
