Arch Chemicals Announces Price Increases for Industrial Biocides.


NORWALK, Conn. -- Citing continued increases in the costs of key raw materials, transportation and regulatory compliance, Arch Chemicals Founded in 1999, Arch Chemicals (NYSE: ARJ) is a biocides company with over a billion dollars in annual sales. It consists of four divisions:

Prices for Omadine[R] pyrithione-based products will increase by 4 percent. Prices for Triadine[R] triazine-based products, Densil[R] chlorothanonil-based products and Reputain[TM] bronopol and glutaraldehyde-based products will increase by 5 percent. Prices for Omacide[R] IPBC IPBC Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate (preservative)  based-products will increase by 6 percent. Prices for Vanquish[TM] BBIT-based products will increase by 15 percent.
