Corporation." "The worldwide electronics industry is migrating their integrated circuit integrated circuit (IC), electronic circuit built on a semiconductor substrate, usually one of single-crystal silicon. The circuit, often called a chip, is packaged in a hermetically sealed case or a nonhermetic plastic capsule, with leads extending from it for designs to deep submicron -- with feature sizes of less than 0.5 microns," said Gerald C. Hsu, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. of ArcSys. "Avant! is in the business of developing deep submicron integrated circuit (IC) design tools, which require a new set of ground rules because the physical design is largely responsible for the overall performance of the IC. As the future Avant! Corporation, we understand these new ground rules and will continue to be entirely focused on bringing the best deep submicron physical design technology to the customer." Mr. Hsu has been named chairman, president and CEO of Avant! Corporation.
