ArcSoft Announces PhotoPrinter 2.0; Prints Multiple Images and Sizes on One Sheet.FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 16, 1998--ArcSoft Inc., a leading developer of easy-to-use digital imaging software and hardware, announced today at PC Expo PhotoPrinter 2.0, the easy-to-use printing software utility that enables users to save money on any type of photo paper by quickly and easily laying out photos on a single sheet of paper. PhotoPrinter 2.0 maximizes printer output by allowing the user to print more than one image at the same time. Users can print out multiple sizes of the same or different photos on a single sheet of paper by simply dragging and dropping images to different sizes of templates, including templates for Avery labels. Anywhere between 1 to 80 photos can be printed on a single sheet. PhotoPrinter 2.0 users can output to any type of paper, including photo paper as well as stock, and output to any installed printer, including inkjet, laser and photo printers. PhotoPrinter includes basic image editing tools for sharpening, cropping, rotating and adjusting color and brightness. Special effects filters, like painting, sketch and mosaic, and an assortment of realistic frames and backgrounds are available for extra creative touches.
