ArcMail Defender U110 and Defender U120 Appliances Provide 40% More Processing Power and Faster Memory

SHREVEPORT, La. -- ArcMail Technology, a leading provider of email archiving and management technology, today introduced two new email archiving and management appliances for small businesses-ArcMail Defender U110 and Defender U120. With up to 650GB of archive storage space, these new appliances provide everything small businesses need to meet their archiving and email management needs in a compact, affordable, easy-to-use solution. The new 1U rack mountable units supply up to 40% more processing power than the previous ArcMail Defender XPS desktop models, providing even faster indexing and search capabilities. Both models use RAID 1 for fault tolerance and have hot swappable drives.

ArcMail's email archiving and management appliances capture a copy of all inbound, outbound and internal email, indexes the email header and text information, and securely stores the data on built-in disk storage. The new ArcMail Defender U110 and U120 rack mount models are geared for companies with 50 to 200 users and can archive up to 8M emails. ArcMail Technology's product line also includes the ArcMail Defender XPS desktop appliance for small businesses and the ArcMail Defender U200 and U300 series for businesses with up to 5000 users.

ArcMail's email archiving products provide management features that include Web-based search and retrieve functionality and daily status and real-time exception reports to allow administrators to continually monitor and manage system performance.
