Arby's Adds Twist to Famous Roast Beef with New French Dip Sandwich This Fall.


ATLANTA -- The company famous for slow-roasting roast beef and freshly slicing it to order is distancing itself further from the ubiquitous burger brands with the nationwide introduction of a French Dip Sandwich A French dip sandwich, also known as a beef dip, is a hot sandwich consisting of thinly sliced roast beef (or, sometimes, other meats) on a "French roll" or baguette. .
