Arby's(R) Revs Its Engines in '07 with Sponsorship of Racing Maverick Matt Kenseth.


ATLANTA -- It's no secret that Arby's is the place for people who crave something different and something better than ordinary fast food. Now, the leader in great tasting fast food is teaming up with Roush Racing to sponsor racing phenomenon Matt Kenseth Matthew Roy Kenseth (born March 10 1972) is a stock car racing driver for the Roush Fenway Racing team in NASCAR's Nextel Cup series. Kenseth was raised in Cambridge, Wisconsin.  on the track and off during the 2007 season. The Arby's brand will be the primary sponsor of 13 races on Kenseth's No. 17 Ford Fusion Ford Fusion is a name used on two different types of cars from the Ford Motor Company.

Additionally, Ford used the name before the launch of the European Ford Focus, in communications with contractors working on
 NASCAR NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing), organization that sanctions American stock-car races, est. 1948. It held its first race in Daytona Beach, Fla.  Busch Series The NASCAR Busch Series is a stock car racing series owned and operated by NASCAR. It is NASCAR's "minor league" circuit (often compared to Triple-A baseball), and is a proving ground for drivers who wish to step up to the organization's "big league" circuit, the Nextel Cup.  entry beginning with the season opener at Daytona International Speedway Daytona International Speedway is a superspeedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. It is a 2.5 mile (4 km) tri-oval race track facility with a seating capacity of 168,000 spectators.  in February 2007. Arby's will also appear as the primary sponsor on Kenseth's NASCAR Nextel Cup The NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series is NASCAR's top racing series. It was formerly known as the Strictly Stock Series (1949), Grand National Series (1950-1971), and the Winston Cup Series (1972-2003).  Ford Fusion in the Spring 2007 race at Bristol Motor Speedway Bristol Motor Speedway, originally known as Bristol International Raceway and Bristol Raceway is a NASCAR short track located in Bristol, Tennessee. It was constructed in 1960, and held its first NASCAR race on July 30, 1961. .

Our Busch team had a great 2006 season; we ended the year with two straight wins. Hopefully we will be able to pick up where we left off and get a win for Arby's at Daytona."

In addition to a full car paint scheme during the races, the exciting partnership also includes a 200 day show car tour across the US, and an associate sponsorship of all No. 17 Nextel Cup races. Special sweepstakes, collectible cups, and other in-store promotions will also take place throughout the year.

Kenseth competed in 21 of the 35 Busch Series races in 2006 and was a force to be reckoned with in those starts. He rounded out the 2006 season with four poles, three wins, 15 top-five and 18 top-10 finishes in his 21 starts.
