Arbor Networks Founder Farnam Jahanian Awarded First Annual Governor's University Award.


LEXINGTON, Mass. -- Arbor arbor

 Networks, a leader in network security, today announced that its founder, Dr. Farnam Jahanian, has been honored with the first annual Governor's University Award for Commercialization Excellence (U-ACE). The U-ACE, in conjunction with Michigan Governor Jennifer M. Granholm and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, recognized the successful commercialization of technology stemming from the research and entrepreneurial efforts of researchers at Michigan's public universities.

. More than 20 applicants were reviewed by a selection committee of university, government, and private industry professionals and were judged on the economic impact of the research, its stage of commercialization, and the nominee's entrepreneurial spirit.
