Arbitron adds five new radio markets in Fall 2000 Radio Survey; Record number of measured markets includes two new "Top 100" markets.

), today announced that five new radio markets - Middlesex-Somerset-Union, NJ; Westchester, NY; Clarksville-Hopkinsville, TN-KY; Flagstaff-Prescott, AZ; and St. George-Cedar-City, UT - have been added to the Fall 2000 Arbitron radio survey schedule, bringing the total number of radio markets measured by Arbitron to 283.

Middlesex-Somerset-Union and Westchester are Continuous Measurement markets surveyed four times a year- Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Both these markets are embedded in the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 radio metro. That means these markets will be reported in separate radio audience reports while these areas will continue to be included in the New York Radio Market Report.
