: ARB) announced today that Sean Creamer, executive vice president, Finance and Planning, and chief financial officer, has established a new stock trading plan in accordance with guidelines specified under Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Under the terms of the plan, an authorized broker will sell shares of Arbitron stock at quarterly intervals beginning in March 2007. The plan covers the sale of the number of shares of Arbitron stock necessary to satisfy the tax liability resulting from the vesting of 4.250 shares of restricted stock during the term of the plan.

This plan is scheduled to terminate on December 31, 2007.

This plan was adopted during an authorized trading period and when Mr. Creamer was not in possession of material, non-public information. A third-party broker will administer Mr. Creamer's stock trading plan.

All trades for executive officers of Arbitron Inc. will be publicly reported on Forms 144 and Forms 4, which are filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
