Flight Attendant Loses Two Months Pay for Refusing Assignment

) in circumstances of operational necessity. The decision consent award will remain binding pending a future arbitration of the contract provisions pertaining to flight attendant's guaranteed days off.

The arbitrator also ruled that flight attendant Jason Weber shall be reinstated to his position with the company immediately but that the period from his termination on April 21, 1999 through today's arbitration shall be considered to be an unpaid leave. Weber was terminated for insubordination in·sub·or·di·nate
