Arbab urges contractors for early completion of roads, bridges in Multan.PESHAWAR, November 15, 2009 (Balochistan Times): The Federal Minister for Communications Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan khan Historically, the ruler or monarch of a Mongol tribe. Early on a distinction was made between the title of khan and that of khakan, or “great khan.” Later the term khan was adopted by the Seljuq and Khwarezm-Shah dynasties as a title for the highest Khalil during his one day visit to Multan, inspected the construction work of bridges and highways under the Prime Ministers Multan package. The Minister urged the concerned contractors and consultants to ensure timely completion of these projects and also use quality material in the construction work. He also clarified that no negligence will be tolerated in this regard. He expressed these views while inspecting Muhammad Wala Bridge, Amen Wala Bridge at Musa Pak, six lane road from Chowk In Hindi-Urdu, a chowk is a place where paths intersect.

While addressing local dignitaries and media persons, the federal minister said that the present government under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari Asif Ali Zardari (Urdu: آصف علی زرداری) (Sindhi:آصف علي زرداري) (born July 21, 1956) is the chief of the Zardari tribe and the and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani wants speedy development and prosperity of all people of the country including those of Multan. He said that by the completion of these bridges and roads, not only a long standing demand of the people of Multan will be fulfilled, but its economy, industry and agriculture will grow even further. The federal minister said that we want to facilitate rapid development of all sectors by revolutionizing the communications sector because the communications sector plays the role of backbone in the economic activity of the whole country. The federal minister assured the people of Multan that the ongoing projects of roads and bridges will be completed in time.
