Arasan Releases SDIO Spec Ver 1.20 Compliant SDIO Device IP.SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Arasan Chip Systems, Inc., a leading provider of Reusable Intellectual Property (IP) products, released the SDIO See SDIO card. Device Controller IP compliant to the Ver 1.20 SDIO Specifications. The new IP supports 50 MHz giving it a maximum throughput of 200Mbps in SD-4 bit mode. It also supports extended voltage range of 1.8V which makes it suitable for Cellular/Smart phone applications. The SDIO Device IP is available with AHB, APB APB See Accounting Principles Board (APB). and a 8/16-bit GPIO GPIO General Purpose Input/Output GPIO General Purpose Input Output interface.
