Arasan Chip Systems Appoints Richard Timpa as Vice President Sales.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Arasan Chip Systems, a leading supplier of Reusable Intellectual Property (IP's) cores to decrease IC design time-to-market, announces the appointment of Richard Timpa to its role of Vice President of Sales. In this capacity, Mr Timpa will oversee all Sales activity worldwide.

Mr. Timpa brings 25 years of Semiconductor executive sales and business development experience having worked for such companies as VLSI Technology, LSI Logic, Global Director Custom Products for Solectron, VP Worldwide Sales for Fastparts.com, and in Sales Development for Intel Corporation.

Arasan Ganesan, the Company's President adds, "We're very pleased to have Richard join the Arasan Chip System's team as our Vice President of Sales. His extensive industry experience and knowledge will enable us to accelerate our efforts in supplying IP cores to our customers."

Richard holds a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from City University of New York.
