Turkish Minister of Trade and Industry Nihat Ergun said that "Trade relations between Turkey and Arab world are based on strategic foundations of many mutual projects between Arab and Turkish businessmen", indicating to his country's desire to have partnerships with Arab world and manage common international projects with them. "Talks between Gulf countries and Turkey are still underway to sign free trade agreement similar to those signed between Turkey and number of Arab countries."
