Amer said on Tuesday that steps needed to establis a permanent Arab Parliament

were moving forward, including the organization for such parliament which will

be up for discussion and approval in the upcoming Arab Summit in Libya. Bin Amer's comment came in a press release after her meeting with Arab

League Secretary General Amr Moussa where discussions focused on the current

phase of the transitional parliament and the steps needed to become a

permanent house. Bin Amer added she had informed the Secretary General on the deliberations

within the AIP and exchanged views on ongoing preparations for the Statute of GLOUCESTER, STATUTE OF. An English statute, passed 6 Edw. I., A. D., 1278; so called, because it was passed at Gloucester. There were other statutes made at Gloucester, which do not bear this name. See stat. 2 Rich. II.
