Arab League Council starts meetings tomorrow.Cairo, Sept. 6 (Petra)--Meetings of the 132nd session of the Arab League Council will open in Cairo tomorrow at the level of permanent representatives to prepare for the councils' ministerial meeting which will be held on Wednesday. Jordan's delegation to the meetings will be headed by its permanent representative to the Arab League Hani Mulqi. Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ahmad Bin Hali said the meeting will tackle a number of political, economic, social and legal issues in the Arab world, at the top of which is the Palestinian issue. Other agenda items, he added, included Israel's occupation of the Golan Heights Golan Heights, strategic upland region (2003 est. pop. 10,500), c.500 sq mi (1,250 sq km), SW Syria.
