Arab Cmte prepares follow-up report on Arab Summit of Doha.CAIRO, Sept 7 (KUNA) -- The Arab League committee which supervises the implementation of decisions and commitments made by representatives of the League held a meeting here Monday at the level of permanent representatives in order to prepare a Mid-year report regarding the implementation of resolutions which came out of the Arab summit that was held in Doha last March. The committee gathered officials from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Libya, Sudan, in addition to the League's General Secretariat. Arab League Undersecretary Ahmad bin Hilli the committee would relay the report to the upcoming 132nd session of the League's council meeting which would be held on September 9-10. The report includes discussions on the implementation of the initiative set by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh sheikh or shaykh Among Arabic-speaking tribes, especially Bedouin, the male head of the family, as well as of each successively larger social unit making up the tribal structure. The sheikh is generally assisted by an informal tribal council of male elders.
