Ar Namys party to decide whether to nominate a candidate to run in presidential election.


The political council of Ar Namys party will make a decision during its session next week whether to nominate nom·i·nate  
tr.v. nom·i·nat·ed, nom·i·nat·ing, nom·i·nates
1. To propose by name as a candidate, especially for election.

2. To designate or appoint to an office, responsibility, or honor.
 a candidate to run in the presidential election on July 23, 2009, party leader Felix Kulov Felix Sharshenbayevich Kulov (Russian: Феликс Шаршенбаевич Кулов  told AKIpress.When asked whether Felix Kulov plans to run in the presidential election himself, he said that he cannot say anything until the political council has made its decision.Felix Kulov served as Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan The prime minister of Kyrgyzstan is the head of government of Kyrgyzstan. Generally, the president is in a stronger position than the prime minister in Kyrgyzstan. The president is allowed to appoint the prime minister temporarily, and his appointment is known as the acting prime  following the Tulip Revolution The Tulip Revolution refers to the overthrow of President Askar Akayev and his government in the Central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan after the parliamentary elections of February 27 and of March 13 2005.  on March 24, 2005. He first served from 1 September 2005 until he resigned on 19 December 2006.  Kulov in January 2007 were unsuccessful due to parliamentary opposition, and on January 29 a new prime minister was approved by Parliament. On May 2, 2008, President Bakiev appointed him Head of the Directorate for Small and Medium Hydroenergy.
