Aquilent Wins Dual Contracts Valued at More than $2.7M to Provide Health IT Solutions for the Department of Veterans Affairs.


Contracts Part of $13M in Combined New Business Final Quarter

LAUREL, Md. -- Aquilent, the recognized leading provider of Web-based solutions shaping the next generation of technology for the federal government, today announced that the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Affairs is a term of the business that deals with the relation between a government and its veteran communities, usually administered by the designated government agency.  (VA) has chosen Aquilent for two health IT support contracts valued at more than $2.7M combined. Under the terms of the contracts, Aquilent will provide healthcare revenue data migration and health risk assessment solutions.

Specifically, under the first contract, Aquilent will develop and execute a detailed strategy and plan for the migration of healthcare revenue data from existing systems to VA's new Revenue Improvement and System Enhancements (RISE) solution. Under the second contract, Aquilent will engage stakeholders to create a combined set of health assessment questions for VA and the Department of Defense (DoD), and prototype a combined Health Risk Assessment Instrument (HRAI HRAI Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada
