) will provide a live webcast of its annual shareholder meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Richard C. Green, chairman and chief executive officer, will address shareholders at the annual meeting, discussing financial results and providing an update on Aquila's progress with its repositioning plan. Results of the election of directors will also be announced.

The company will also provide a live webcast of its conference call with the financial community to discuss 2005 first quarter results on Thursday, May 5, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
