) announced today that Norma F. Dunn has been named senior vice president, corporate communications.

Dunn is responsible for all facets of Aquila's corporate communications such as policies, procedures, production, and dissemination of all communications. She reports to Richard C. Green, chairman and chief executive officer.

"Norma brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of corporate communications in addition to her knowledge of project management, finance and public policy," said Green. "She will be a strong addition to our leadership team as we move forward with our repositioning plan."

Prior to joining Aquila, Dunn worked 17 years in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility for El Paso Corporation in Houston, Texas. She was named El Paso's senior vice president, corporate communications and government affairs, in 1999 and vice president of investor and public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  in 1993.

In 2004, Dunn created and served as executive director of the Center for Cancer Economics at the M.D. Anderson Center in Houston, Texas. Before joining El Paso, Dunn was a senior auditor for Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).
