If the relief is granted, Aquila will cease to be a reporting issuer in Canada and as such will not be required to file financial statements and other disclosure documents with Canadian regulatory authorities, the company said. Canadian shareholders will continue to receive all disclosure materials required by U.S. securities law to be delivered to securities holders in those Canadian jurisdictions in the same manner and as per the prescribed time required by U.S. securities law and U.S. market requirements.
