Aquatic education program hits the coast.


California Aquatics Management School 2003 will be held Nov. 18-21 at the Asilomar Conference Center near Monterey. Their goal was to make this school affordable, educational, to provide unique networking opportunities and to be held annually in their own backyard. One of the many unique aspects of CAMS is that the registration fee includes lodging, meals, educational and networking opportunities and school socials. Also, Asilomar is a retreat-style conference center and there are no phones, computer access or televisions in the rooms. All this combines for a great atmosphere for learning, networking and socializing. This all-inclusive type school attracted 43 participants in 2001 and 65 in 2002.
