Ahl Forest Forms New Subsidiary, Ahl EcoWood, to Distribute Wood

Products Manufactured from Aquatic Hardwoods

Aquatic Cellulose, a leader in the emerging aquatic timber harvesting industry, announced today a $105,000 sale of Jatoba and Brazilian Ipe to Ahl Forest Products of Loomis, CA.

The sale coincides with a shipment of ecological hardwoods from Brazil that recently arrived in Oakland, CA. Aquatic reports Ahl Forest Products has purchased C.O.D. the entire Oakland order of rough cut lumber.

In related news, Ahl Forest Products announced it has formed Ahl EcoWood, a new subsidiary based solely upon distribution of ecological forest products manufactured from Aquatic's Brazilian hardwoods. Among the products to be offered by Ahl EcoWood include Jatoba flooring and Brazilian Ipe decking.

"We are pleased to announce Ahl EcoWood as a key West Coast distributor," stated Gary Ackles, Aquatic CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . He added, "Ahl EcoWood joins a growing list of companies that are responding to public concerns about the environment by offering fine quality wood products made from our sensible forest alternatives. We are delighted by Ahl Forest's commitment to expanding our U.S. sales and distribution through formation of their new subsidiary, and we are indeed looking forward to working closely with their management to ensure our mutual success."

"Ahl EcoWood is especially proud to be a distributor for Aquatic," stated Steve Ahl, Manager of Ahl EcoWood. He added, "Our confidence in the quality of their products and management has lead to our development of a new subsidiary based solely upon the manufacture, distribution and marketing of Aquatic's ecological hardwoods. While most of our competitors elect to cut trees from the forest, Ahl EcoWood will differentiate itself by promoting the fact it delivers original Amazon quality without cutting a single living tree. The sales and management staff of Ahl EcoWood recognize the importance of the promotional tool now afforded us by Aquatic's Brazilian hardwoods. We are truly excited to possess such a powerful marketing advantage."

He added, "We anticipate being able to increase that amount over time through expansion of our customer base, as well as by adding new product lines and species offerings." Aquatic reports all of the Jatoba purchased by Ahl EcoWood was air dried in Brazil prior to being shipped to Oakland. "We prefer to receive our imported lumber around 15% moisture content so that it remains stable during shipment along water," stated Ahl. He added, "Having the ability to dry the lumber in the U.S. at our precision kiln facilities also ensures that we are able to maintain the highest quality control standards for our customers. Any problems with respect to moisture content are eliminated by this practice." When asked about the Jatoba received in Oakland, Ahl responded, "We were very pleased with the shipment and the quality is going to make our customers extremely happy."

"We are delighted by Aquatic's commitment to becoming a leading International supplier to the ecological forest products industry," stated Ahl. He added, "They are one of the few companies we have found with the volume potential for enabling our niche industry to become price competitive with land based forest products. That is but one of the many reasons why we have chosen Aquatic as our only supplier." Mr. Ackles concluded, "We are equally excited by our alliance with Ahl EcoWood and the opportunity it has created for expanding our U.S. sales and distribution. Through our combined efforts, I am confident we will succeed in elevating awareness about our emerging companies and the quality wood products manufactured from our Amazon rainforest The Amazon Rainforest (Brazilian Portuguese: Floresta Amazônica or Amazônia; Spanish: Selva Amazónica or Amazonía) is a moist broadleaf forest in the Amazon Basin of South America.  alternatives."

About the Company

Aquatic Cellulose International Corp. (AQCI) is a growth stage, technology based company retrieving what was once considered a lost natural resource. That resource is aquatic timber. Gary Ackles, CEO of AQCI, has patented a revolutionary robotic harvesting technology, granting exclusive rights to AQCI for use in the forest industry. With this technology, AQCI is pioneering the worlds first robotic Aquatic Timber Harvester harvester, farm machine that mechanically harvests a crop. Small-grain harvesting has been mechanized to a certain extent since early times. In the modern period the first harvester to gain general acceptance was made by Cyrus McCormick in 1831 (see reaper).  (ATH). The ATH performs a series of underwater cutting and retrieving tasks once only performed by teams of divers Several; any number more than two; different.

Divers is a collective term used to group a number of unspecified people, objects, or acts. It is used frequently to describe property, as in divers parcels of land.
. By eliminating divers, the ATH dramatically increases both output and efficiency, enabling commercial operations of equal scale to land based logging companies. This technological breakthrough is effectively transforming aquatic timber harvesting into a multibillion dollar global industry.

In November, 1999, AQCI began it's first commercial operation at Tucurui Lake in Northern Brazil. Covering over 450,000 acres of inundated in·un·date

From its Tucurui Lake harvesting project, AQCI has introduced a unique product line of "water cured" tropical hardwoods called Amazon Line. Uncompromisingly beautiful, durable and above all ecological, Amazon Line is being marketed in the U.S. as a leading environmental timber alternative.
