Aquatscutum of London leases full floor through Williams

Aquascutum of London, Inc., the quality men's and women's clothier, has leased the entire 27th floor comprising over 9,700-square-foot at 712 Fifth Avenue for its U.S. headquarters in a move which almost doubles its office space, it was announced by Williams Real Estate Co. Inc., which represented the tenant in the transaction.

Aquascutum is expected to move its executive offices from 680 Fifth Avenue at 54th Street, where they are currently located atop the firm's only store in the New York metropolitan area New York–Northern New Jersey–Long Island is the most populous metropolitan area in the United States and the third most populous in the world, after Tokyo and Mexico City. , in late January, 1992. Founded over 140 years ago in London, the company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aquascutum P.L.C., with numerous stores in Europe and the Pacific Rim Pacific Rim, term used to describe the nations bordering the Pacific Ocean and the island countries situated in it. In the post–World War II era, the Pacific Rim has become an increasingly important and interconnected economic region. .

The 15-year lease has an aggregate rental value rental value n. the amount which would be paid for rental of similar property in the same condition in the same area. Evidence of rental value becomes important in lawsuits in which loss of use of real property or equipment is an issue, and the rental value is the  of $6.5 million.

Andrew H. Roos, executive vice president of Williams, represented Aquascutum in the transaction. Jeffrey A. Lichtenberg and Bruce Goodman Goodman was a polite term of address, used where Mister (Mr.) would be used today. Compare Goodwife.

Williams also represented Prestige International NY, Inc., a company which provides information and travel services to Japanese firms in the U.S., in a lease of the 44th floor at 712 Fifth Avenue in 1989.
