Aqua Xtremes Outlines Plans For XBoard Production.

, Aqua Xtremes, Inc., has outlined plans for the production of XBoard, the jet-powered watercraft that is shaped like a surfboard but powered by a jet-propelled engine.

XBoard will be produced by Xtreme Manufacturing, which is located in a 150,000 square foot facility near Brownsville, Texas. Xtreme Manufacturing was created specifically to produce, assemble and fulfill the launch of XBoard to the marketplace beginning in 2005.

"When we researched our options in manufacturing and production it became clear that it was essential for Aqua Xtremes to work with an established manufacturer with a proven track record," explained Art Robins, Aqua Xtremes CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. .

"We needed a partner that recognized the innovation of our product, had the vision to work through our developmental stages, and stay focused on delivering a production timeline that would meet the market demands. We found that partner in Xtreme Manufacturing, whose facilities have produced millions of components for such companies as Sony and Panasonic."

Xtreme Manufacturing utilizes six sigma and lean manufacturing technology. "We've employed hundreds of skilled labor personnel for projects of this scope, and operate within extremely tight tolerances and zero free defects," stated Jim Abel, President of Xtreme Manufacturing. "We have reviewed the bill of materials The list of components that make up a system. For example, a bill of materials for a house would include the cement block, lumber, shingles, doors, windows, plumbing, electric, heating and so on.  with our design and manufacturing engineers and are confident we can begin assembly and production in December 2004, with deliveries expected in March 2005."
