Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation Announces Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Batterjee for Saudi Arabia.

KETCHUM, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 1998--Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation (OTC:AVBC), announced today that it had signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Batterjee Medical Services, for the exclusive distribution rights to sell and distribute all Aqua Vie product lines in Saudia Arabia.

The agreement is subject to completion of due diligence and definitive documentation which is expected to be completed within approximately two weeks.

Batterjee Medical Services is based in Jeddah, with offices in Riyadh, and Damman. The origination of the company dates back sixty years, when Ibrahim Hassan Batterjee was the Founder of one of the original families of Jeddah, and was a highly respected member of the city. Amongst other businesses, he and his sons founded the Batterjee Pharmaceutical Company, which still exists today. One of the oldest and once largest pharmaceutical companies in Saudi Arabia, they rose to become the owners of thirteen pharmacies located throughout the peninsula.

Abd Almajeed Batterjee, the eldest grandson, established Batterjee Medical Services in 1981 in the capital city of Riyadh. BMS represents several pharmaceutical, glycolic skin care products and health foods and beverages, both at retail as well as in the medical community. Abd Almajeed retains his relationships with Batterjee Pharmacies.

Talks were also held on the potential for BMS to begin manufacturing Aqua Vie products in a possible joint venture to build a new aseptic bottling facility in or near Jeddah, to serve the entire Arabian Peninsula, Asia, and Africa.
