Aqua Vie Beverage Corp. and Delifruits SA Enter Into Three Year Production Agreement.

PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 1999--Thomas Gillespie, founder and chairman of the board of Aqua Vie Beverage Corp. (OTC BB:AVBC), announced today that Aqua Vie has entered into a definitive three year production agreement with Delifruits SA, whereby Delifruits has agreed to provide bottling production for Aqua Vie's five beverage product lines, as well the produce PET bottles for Aqua Vie.

The agreement includes for the production of Aqua Vie's Hydrator(TM) product line to begin March 15, 1999, for immediate shipment to Aqua Vie's exclusive distributor in Israel; "H.A. Cosmos Trade Ltd.," to be distributed throughout Israel, Jordan, The West Bank, Gaza, and Spain, as well as to Aqua Vie's exclusive distributor in Saudi Arabia; "Batterjee Medical Services," to be distributed throughout Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Syria, Yemen, Oman, Bahrain, Iran, United Arab Emirates and several countries in northeastern Africa. Additionally, initial shipments of Aqua Vie's Hydrators(TM) will be shipped to distributors in New York and Florida.

Delifruits SA, is an aseptic bottling facility located in Valence, in S.E. France. It is owned by Bongrain SA, a large food company that is primarily known for its global cheese and dairy manufacturing and distribution. Delifruits is one of the largest, and fastest growing aseptic beverage manufacturers in France. It presently produces products for Lipton, Rivella, as well as private labels for some of the largest food distributors in Europe, including Carrefour, Auchan, Leclerc, Intermarche, System U, Waitrose, Sainsbury, Morrisons, and Europa/Cullens, amongst others. Aside from producing beverages of impeccable quality, Delifruits is well known for their "new product" innovation.

According to Gillespie, Herve Franceschi will be overseeing Aqua Vie's production in France. Franceschi, born and raised in France, conducted the first tests on the aseptic processing of "all natural" beverages in PET plastic in the U.S. Prior to that, Franceschi was the vice president of sales for Remy Aseptic Beverage Fillers in the U.S. He later went on to test the first Remy filler for beverages in the U.S. at Lyons Magnus Bottling Facility, in California.

Aqua Vie produces the Hydrator(TM) line of beverages, a low calorie all natural product line of seven lightly flavored non-carbonated spring waters, which were designed to increase one's personal consumption of water.
