Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters

The movie is real; Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters actually got produced. Even I was beginning to have my doubts after a while. The ATHF ATHF Aqua Teen Hunger Force (cartoon)  film is really bizarre, even for ATHF. Fans of the show get to see some familiar characters like The Plutonians, MC Pee Pants, The Cybernetic cy·ber·net·ics

, Dr. Weird Dr. Weird may refer to:
  • Dr. Weird (Aqua Teen Hunger Force), a character from the animated series Aqua Teen Hunger Force
  • Dr. Weird (comics), a character from the fanzine Star Studded Comics that was later incorporated into Big Bang Comics
and the terror alert raising Mooninites. The film is about as long as 5 episodes except that it is animated a little better and the cast gets to drop a couple of F-bombs.

The intro of the film is easily the funniest thing I have seen inside a movie theater in a while. The audience was laughing hysterically and the ATHF characters had not even shown up yet. From there the film moves quickly through some very funny backstory back·sto·ry

, Frylock, Meatwad and Carl. From there it moves to the main a story that revolves around a piece of exercise equipment that threatens to destroy the entire world, while making Carl crazy buff.

So what is the movie about… does it really matter? The film delves in to the origins of the Aqua Teens and explains their connection to Dr. Weird. Aside from the improved animation, the film is not that much different than the show. The film is funny but it can be hit and miss sometimes, also like the show. The Mooninites manage to steal every scene that they are in and they are hilarious. Master Shake benefits most from the R rating of the film, as he gets to speak as freely as he wants. Some of the dialog is bleeped and some of it is not, which was kind of funny. There is a lot of action and a lot of blood, like Robert Rodriguez lots. The Plutonians are also funny in the film and we get some back story on them as well. For fans this should be a home run and for non fans they may leave the theater confused but smiling or horrified hor·ri·fy
tr.v. hor·ri·fied, hor·ri·fy·ing, hor·ri·fies
