Aqua Pure - Completion of Enhanced Commercial Unit - Discussions Underway With Potential Clients.

KELOWNA, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 1996-- Aqua Pure Ventures I (VSE AQE.) Harold Lauman, President/Director of Aqua Pure Ventures Inc., announces that Colt Engineering Corporation, of Calgary, has completed the design and pricing for a 65,000 (U.S.) gallon per day commercial unit. The design and pricing has also been completed for the modification of the existing prototype. The new design will significantly increase the process volume and significantly decrease energy costs. The projected date of completion for the modification of the prototype will be mid- December, 1996. The unit will then be moved to the leachate site at the Kelowna Landfill.

The completion of the engineered drawings and accompanying pricing will now enable the company to submit proposals to Greenlane Environmental Group Ltd. of London, Ontario and Consolidated Envirowaste Industries Inc. of Abbotsford, BC., who have previously expressed interest in acquiring the company's technology.

Rob Bradbury, marketing manager/director, returned from a trip to India, October 25, 1996, where contacts within the Confederation of India Industry (Environmental Division) were made, which led to preliminary discussions with Optima Technologies Pvt. Ltd, of New Delhi, regarding a possible joint venture partnership.
