Aqua Care Systems announces second quarter profit; revenues increased 14.7 percent.

Revenues for the second quarter 1996 reached $4.3 million, an increase of 14.7% from $3.7 million a year ago. Net income for the quarter increased to $68,402, or $.01 per share, from a net loss of $(568,406), or $(.12) per share for the prior year's second quarter. It should be noted that the number of outstanding shares of common stock increased to 8.3 million from 4.9 million a year ago.

For the six-month period ended June 30, 1996, revenues aggregated $8.2 million, up 9.3% from $7.5 million last year. Net income rose to $22,198, or $.00 per share, an increase of $897,041 from a net loss of $(874,852), or $(.19) per share for the same period a year ago.
