With more than 1,000 installations worldwide, Sernagiotto is a renowned manufacturer of premium quality belt filter presses, driers and thickeners, some of which have been sold under the Andritz(R) trade name for many years. Under the terms of the agreement, Aqua Care acquires the exclusive rights to sell, install, service, manufacture and/or assemble Sernagiotto's products within the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The Sernagiotto manufacturing facilities have recently been certified as complying with ISO (1) See ISO speed.

Aqua Care Systems, Inc., based in Coral Springs, Fla., is a manufacturer and supplier of municipal, industrial, and residential water filtration and purification systems. Aqua Cares Systems' subsidiaries include EnviroSystems Supply, Inc., Pure Flow Water Company, Inc., Gravity Flow Systems, Inc., Car Wash Equipment & Supply, Inc., KISS International, Inc., Midwest Water Technologies Inc., Di-tech Systems, Inc., and Integrated Process Automation Systems, Inc.

For the nine-month period ended Sept. 30, 1996, Aqua Care reported revenues of $12.2 million, a 16.6 percent increase from the year-earlier period and the company's net loss was reduced to $(157,000) a decrease of $2.7 million from a net loss of $(2,863,000) in the first nine months of 1995.
