Aqeel bags the title of Subh-e-Nau Clay Court Tennis.
Islamabad, October 18, 2009 (Frontier Star): Aqeel Khan Aqeel Khan (born January 30, 1980, in Karachi) is the current Pakistani number two at Tennis and National Champion. Aqeel is also the Asian Number 37.
His career highlights include helping the Pakistan Davis Cup team defeat favourites, New Zealand, in the Davis Cup, by registered
yet another title victory to his name after won Subh-e-Nau National Clay

6-4. Aqeel showed his experience won the remaining two sets by 6-4 and

he beat Samir Iftikhar in a crucial match. Heera won first set by 7-6;
however he was down by 6-7 against Samir's aggressive game in
second set. He maintained his winning spree in last set and won by 6-2.
In Boys' Junior's U-13, Kashan-ul-Haq was the title winner
after beating Saad Zafar. Saada Zafar won first set by 4-2,however
seeded one in national U-13 ranking, Kashan-ul-Haq played very well in
remaining two sets. He won this match by 2-4, 4-0 and 4-2 After final of

occasion. Speaking on this occasion, Chairman CDA said it was a good
step to bring young people towards sports. He said CDA was very
committed to involve our youth in sports activities. Mrs. Shahida Kauser
Farooq thanked the chief guest and Senator Dilawar Abbas for their kind
support to conduct this event.
