Aptuit Advances Key Leader, Plans for Expansion of Global Clinical Packaging and Logistics Capacity, Launches Next Clinicopia(R) Solution.

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Aptuit today announced developments in the leadership of Clinical Operations, the plans for a new clinical packaging and logistics facility on the east coast of the United States, and the launch of Clinicopia[R] 4.1. These announcements support Aptuit's growth and deliverance on the promise of quality, cutting edge technology and facilities, and customer service. Today's launch of Clinicopia 4.1 marks the second milestone in a multi-phase roll-out of the entire Clinicopia Suite across all of its facilities worldwide, following the launch of Clinicopia Labeling in 2006.

The Clinical Operations business line is comprised of Clinical Packaging and Logistics ("CPL"), Aptuit Informatics, and a global distribution network. During the past 18 months, CPL management has integrated disparate processes, facilities and systems into a single, tightly-coordinated global operation that is growing organically at over 20% per annum.

Gerry Hepburn has been promoted to President, Clinical Operations. Hepburn has been influential in the growth of the Clinical Packaging and Logistics (CPL) business as Senior Director, Clinical Packaging and Logistics responsible for Aptuit's European operations in Bathgate, Scotland and Deeside, Wales. Since joining the organization in 2003, he has driven positive change in quality, service, customer acceptance and leadership. Hepburn also led the initial deployment of the Clinicopia system within Aptuit and will continue to oversee the development of the Clinicopia product suite in his new role.

Hepburn will bring new energy and leadership to Clinical Operations as Aptuit now embarks on a new phase of investment in CPL with previously announced plans to establish a new, state-of-the-art CPL facility on the east coast of the United States, and the intention to build a larger and more modern facility in Deeside. With regard to the east coast facility, several site locations have been identified around the greater Philadelphia area that will accommodate a planned 400,000 - 500,000 square foot facility to more than double the Clinical Packaging and Logistics operations currently in New Jersey and provide expansion for formulation development, analytical testing and manufacturing. The site is expected to be qualified and ready for operations in the summer of 2008. With regard to the Deeside facility, planning is underway and sites have been identified to accommodate this investment. Aptuit expects this site to be qualified and ready for operations in 2008.

Finally, Aptuit Informatics announced the successful completion and launch of Clinicopia 4.1, the culmination of over 12 months of combined development between Aptuit Informatics and CPL to add robustness and functionality to the product suite. The 4.1 release provides Clinicopia customers with the industry's leading software solution in support of clinical supply management. Clinicopia 4.1 is the first off-the-shelf release that is ready for deployment without customization and a simplified qualification by customers. Aptuit CPL has also begun the implementation of this latest release to support internal operations.
