Growth was primarily driven by software license revenue more than doubling and maintenance revenue increasing by more than 40 percent, each on a year-over-year basis. Customer Activity Seven customer sites were activated with new FlexNet([R]) applications in the third quarter 2009, bringing the year-to-date total number of site activations to 27 in 2009. Two new customers chose Apriso in the third quarter, including a Life Sciences manufacturer headquartered in Japan, which produces a wide range of pharmaceutical and medical devices. Apriso continues to expand its role in the energy and power industry.
