Aprisma Launches $12 Million Worldwide Branding Campaign That Makes Emotional Connection With Target Audiences.

Business/Technology Editors

DURHAM, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 2000

Aprisma Management Technologies Aprisma Management Technologies was created after Cabletron Systems was broken up into 5 smaller pieces, as the business unit to continue the highly successful SPECTRUM network management suite. It was acquired in early 2005 by Concord, which in turn was acquired by Computer Associates. , a pioneer in e-business infrastructure management software, today unveiled a $12 million, global branding campaign that makes a strong emotional connection with CIOs and information technology managers. The campaign, titled "Only Human," is designed to increase awareness of Aprisma, enhance the brand equity of its cornerstone SPECTRUM product suite, create momentum for the company prior to an initial public offering -- and launch an entirely new global independent brand.

Aprisma, recently established as an autonomous company from Cabletron Systems, partnered with TFA/Leo Burnett Technology Group in developing the brand campaign.

"Our focus group research in both the enterprise and service provider markets revealed that the IT professional is the true unsung hero of today's massive infrastructure buildouts," said Darren Orzechowski, Aprisma's vice president of marketing.
