WHAT

The deadline to nominate for the 2005 Tech Museum Awards is April 4. The Tech Museum Awards, presented by Applied Materials Applied Materials, Inc. NASDAQ: AMAT (HKSE: 4336 ) is the global leader in nanomanufacturing technology solutions with a broad portfolio of innovative equipment, service and software products for the fabrication of semiconductor chips, flat panel solar displays, solar  Inc., is a unique program, which recognizes pioneers who leverage technology to address the world's most pressing challenges.

Annually, The Tech Awards honor 25 laureates from around the world in the categories of Education, Equality, Environment, Economic Development, and Health. At a black-tie gala each November, five laureates share a $250,000 cash prize to further their work.

Nominate anyone who uses technology in any way to help make the world a better place.
