Apricorn is the first and only manufacturer to offer an IBM ThinkPad Proven(tm) removable memory carrier which now gives ThinkPad 760E users the option to expand their notebook's total RAM capacity to 104MB.

Apricorn's removable memory carrier allows users to increase their current memory capacity with 64MB of EDO RAM (Extended Data Out RAM) A earlier dynamic RAM chip that improved the performance of fast page mode (FPM) memory in the mid-1990s. As a subset of fast page mode, it could be substituted for page mode chips. , simply by inserting the carrier into the proprietary memory slot of their ThinkPad 760E.

In addition, users have the option of inserting an Apricorn 8MB, 16MB or 32MB memory module into the 64MB carrier, giving them the power to expand their total RAM to 104MB.

"With the incredible surge of memory-dependent multimedia programs and enormous multi-tasking applications, the need for more RAM continues to grow at a blistering pace," said Paul Brown For the politician, see Paul Brown (Georgia politician).
