Apptis Wins Federal Trade Commission (FTC) 5 Year Contract.

The contract was awarded under the U.S. General Services Administration's CONNECTIONS contract Category 2 - Support Services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  vehicle.

CONNECTIONS is a comprehensive telecommunications Communicating information, including data, text, pictures, voice and video over long distance. See communications.  infrastructure acquisition package that enables any office building, campus or base environment to address any level of demand for equipment (e.g. Routers, Switches), support services (e.g. Project Managers, Web Architects) and customized solutions (e.g. Systems Integration, Operations Support).

The contract, Enterprise Support Desk (ESD (1) (Electronic Software Distribution) Distributing new software and upgrades via the network rather than individual installations on each machine. See ESL. ) encompasses a broad range of information technology (IT) support services. The base contract requires Apptis to deliver a managed service call center that will utilize the established Apptis Call Center in its corporate headquarters in Chantilly, Va. Apptis will provide Tier 1 thru Tier 3 support for the FTC on a 7 day a week basis. On-site support at several FTC locations will also be required for end-user desk side support.

Within the contract are several optional components that embody em·bod·y
