Apptis Selected by DISA to Provide Network Operations Support for the US Central Command.

CHANTILLY, Va. -- Apptis, Inc., a leading IT services and solutions provider to the federal marketplace, announced today that the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has awarded a multi-year task order valued at approximately $25 million, to provide critical network operations and information assurance support to the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL and Bahrain.

USCENTCOM is a joint services Combatant Command responsible for the Combat Operations within South West Asia (SWA), which includes Iraq and Afghanistan.

By enhancing the network management infrastructure and providing services for continuous availability, classified and unclassified communication flows securely and efficiently via voice, data, video and satellite to command centers within SWA and the United States.
