Application Technologies Inc. (AppsTech), a leader in information technology (IT) consulting for multinational corporations and governments, today announced the appointment of international economist and financial consultant Jean-Claude Tchatchouang as Chief Financial Officer.

Tchatchouang brings AppsTech a wealth of international financial management expertise, having held key positions at The World Bank, The International Monetary Fund and the Central Bank of Central African States (BEAC).

Prior to joining AppsTech, Tchatchouang was comptroller at The Mitchell Group Inc and served as a financial consultant to KPMG Consulting LLC, where he was credited with improving the cash flow of the Barents Group, an operating unit within KPMG that assists governments, institutions and corporations to undertake major transitions.

He has a strong background in database/software design and development, and is an Oracle developer.

Tchatchouang has also served as an economist for The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, and was a division chief at the BEAC. He has played a key role in improving the economies of such developing countries as the Republic of Guinea and the Republic of Chad.
