Approval of bonus issue at Dr. Reddy's 22nd Annual General Meeting.


HYDERABAD, India -- Dr. Reddy's today announced that at the 22nd Annual General Meeting held on July 28, 2006, the shareholders have approved issue of bonus equity shares in the ratio of 1:1 (one equity share for each equity share held) for all existing shares including American Depository The place where a deposit is placed and kept, e.g., a bank, savings and loan institution, credit union, or trust company. A place where something is deposited or stored as for safekeeping or convenience, e.g., a safety deposit box.  Shares.

The Company has announced August 29, 2006 as record date for determining the eligibility of the shareholders for the bonus shares.

Earlier, the Board of Directors at their meeting held on May 31, 2006, recommended issue of bonus shares in proportion of one share for every one equity share held by the members on the record date.
