Automated remediation of controls violations

With the introduction of closed-loop remediation in version 3.0, the BizRights Authorizations Insight becomes the first software to automate remediation of controls violations. For each issue uncovered, BizRights recommends a set of options for eliminating the violation, and guides IT and business managers through the process, automatically making the relevant authorization changes upon approval. All activities are documented, giving companies a full audit trail of the violation as well as the remediation process. When used in conjunction with the recently announced User Activity Insight, remediation recommendations for user-specific control violations can be supported with historical activity data.

Enhancements to BizRights business content

Authorizations Insight version 3.0 makes it easier to build and deploy rules globally across users, business units and ERP systems. By giving individual users the ability to manage their own rules, subject to centralized security and administration, companies can more efficiently manage and address control violations enterprise-wide. Additionally, the pre-defined content library has been expanded. In addition to new rules for existing ERP systems, including SAP ECC 5.0, the Authorizations Insight now includes pre-defined rules for software systems beyond traditional ERP transaction processing applications.

Comprehensive security administration

The new Access Management Insight reduces the costs of sustaining compliance with automated access management controls. By doing a complete analysis and approval process before changes go through, it prevents security violations from entering ERP systems.

The Access Management Insight allows companies to design roles, create users and assign roles throughout ERP systems. It also introduces a self-service password reset option allowing users to reset their own ERP system passwords, reducing the burden on IT staff.

The Access Management Insight provides unique firefighting management capabilities that enable companies to temporarily give authorized users emergency access-on-demand to perform specific activities -- with the necessary monitoring to detect fraudulent behavior.
