He has served such posts as vice chairman of the Cabinet-level Council for Economic Planning and Development (CEPD CEPD Center for Executive and Professional Development CEPD Civil Emergency Planning Directorate (NATO) ), president of Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance, and chairman of the department of economics, National Taiwan University National Taiwan University (Traditional Chinese: 國立臺灣大學; Simplified Chinese: 国立台湾大学 . During his stint as vice CEPD chairman, Mr. Schive took part in the planning of developing Taiwan into a regional operations center under Vice President Vincent Siew, who served as CEPD chairman then.
