ZAANDAM, The Netherlands--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 23, 1998--The Supervisory Board of Royal Ahold (NYSE: AHO), the international food retailer, today announced the appointment of Lodewijk J.R. de Vink to Member of the Supervisory Board, effective December 1, 1998.
