Applix TM1 Certified on Windows Server 2003; Certification Streamlines Application Development Initiatives with Microsoft software.

(Nasdaq: APLX), a global provider of Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Performance Management (BPM) software solutions, today announced Applix's flagship planning platform TM1 has been certified on Windows Server See Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Windows Home Server, Windows 2000 and Windows NT.  2003 Standard and Enterprise editions. The independent certification tests were conducted by VeriTest, the testing division of Lionbridge (Nasdaq: LIOX).

As part of the requirement for receiving Windows certifications, TM1 satisfied stringent reliability requirements to guarantee the highest performance possible on Windows Server 2003. Today's announcement is the first in a series of initiatives for Applix's TM1 to be certified on industry leading platforms and technologies.

This effort follows other recent announcements related to Microsoft platforms and applications. In May, Applix announced a full integration for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services, allowing customers to use MS Reporting Services to author, generate and disseminate large-volume, scheduled and on-demand reports from TM1-based applications.

Previously, Applix developed TM1 Web, the only read/write tool for publishing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to the Web.
